Ranchi, Aug 25: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, along with MLA Kalpana Soren, formally released the book “Baba Baidyanath Jyotirling Deoghar – A Touch of the Divine (दिव्यता का स्पर्श)” in the Jharkhand Assembly on Sunday. The book has been authored by the state’s Advocate General, Rajiv Ranjan.

On the occasion, the Chief Minister extended his congratulations and best wishes to Rajiv Ranjan, appreciating his effort in documenting the religious, cultural, and historical richness of one of the most revered Jyotirlingas in the country.
The book explores in detail the antiquity, mythology, historical background, religious significance, cultural traditions, and legal aspects associated with Baba Baidyanath Jyotirlinga at Deoghar.

The launch event was attended by Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Avinash Kumar, Advocate General Rajiv Ranjan, Secretary Arwa Rajkamal, Senior Principal Secretary to the CM Sunil Srivastava, Additional Advocate General Achyut Keshav, and Government Advocate Manoj Kumar.
