Jamshedpur, Sept 26: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light to moderate rain and thundershowers at many places across the state on September 26.
From September 27 to 29, rainfall activity is likely to reduce, with light to moderate showers expected at a few places.
According to the IMD, the withdrawal line of the southwest monsoon currently passes through Rampur, Bushahr, Haridwar, Moradabad, Etawah, Banswara, Vallabh Vidyanagar, and Veraval.

Meanwhile, a cyclonic circulation persists over the northwest and adjoining westcentral Bay of Bengal, extending up to 5.8 Km above mean sea level and tilting southwestward with height.
Another circulation over the east central and adjoining northeast Bay also persists.
Under their combined influence, a low-pressure area is likely to form over the north and adjoining central Bay of Bengal.
It is expected to intensify into a depression over the northwest and adjoining westcentral Bay off the South Odisha–North Andhra Pradesh coasts on September 26.
The system is very likely to cross the South Odisha–North Andhra Pradesh coasts around the morning of September 27, bringing widespread rainfall to those regions.
