Jamshedpur, Oct 16: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast dry weather conditions over Jharkhand in the next few days.
According to Ranchi Met Centre, a partly cloudy sky is expected to prevail over the southern and central parts of the state on October 16 and 17, while the weather will remain largely dry.
Similar conditions are likely to continue on October 18 and 19, with no significant rainfall activity expected across Jharkhand.

The department reported that an upper air cyclonic circulation, which was earlier positioned over Gangetic West Bengal and Jharkhand, now lies over south Bihar and its neighbourhood between 3.1 and 5.8 Km above mean sea level.
However, it is not expected to cause any major weather disturbance in the region.
Dry weather prevailed over most parts of Jharkhand during the past 24 hours.
The highest maximum temperature of 34.3°C was recorded at Godda, while the lowest minimum temperature of 16.5°C was reported from Latehar.
The IMD has not issued any rainfall warning for the next few days, indicating a continuation of the dry spell with comfortable morning temperatures and warm afternoons across the state.
