PINAKI MAJUMDAR

Jamshedpur, Nov 5: Jharkhand is set to experience a spell of dry and pleasant weather over the next few days, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The forecast indicates fog or mist during the early morning hours, followed by mainly clear skies and dry conditions throughout the day across most parts of the state.

The weather outlook for the coming days (November 5–8) suggests a stable and crisp atmosphere, with no major weather systems influencing the region.

The IMD has noted that no significant synoptic condition currently prevails over Jharkhand, which means rain-bearing systems like low-pressure areas or troughs are absent.

As per the forecast:

November 5–8: Fog or mist in the morning, mainly clear skies later, and dry weather likely.

With the northeast monsoon retreating and the absence of moisture incursion, daytime temperatures are expected to remain comfortable, while mornings and nights may feel cooler in several districts, especially in the plateau and hilly areas like Ranchi, Gumla, Latehar, and Hazaribagh.

The IMD has also clarified that no weather alerts or warnings have been issued for Jharkhand, indicating stable and safe weather conditions across the state.

Residents can expect crisp mornings, bright sunshine, and clear evenings — typical of early November — making it an ideal period for outdoor activities and travel.

However, motorists are advised to remain cautious during early morning hours due to patchy fog or mist, which may reduce visibility in some areas.
