Jamshedpur, Nov 7: After a closely contested finale, D.B.M.S English School, Jamshedpur, clinched the first position with 180 points, followed by Little Flower School in second place with 100 points, and SDSM School for Excellence in third place with 80 points.
The 35th Inter-School Seuli Seal Memorial Quiz Contest was hosted by D.B.M.S English School on Friday. The annual event is held in memory of Seuli, a bright student of the school who passed away on 3rd March 1989. Over the years, this quiz has evolved into one of the most awaited inter-school competitions, celebrating curiosity, intellect, and the joy of learning.

Samanway Banerjee, a renowned national-level quiz master with experience conducting over 500 quizzes across schools, colleges, and corporate institutions, served as the Quiz Master for the event. The competition was open to students of Classes V, VI, and VII.

Twenty-five schools participated in the preliminary round, out of which six teams advanced to the finals—Loyola School, D.B.M.S English School, Sacred Heart Convent School, Little Flower School, Kerala Public School (Kadma), and SDSM School for Excellence.
The final round comprised six segments that tested participants’ knowledge across diverse fields. It was an engaging and informative experience for both participants and the audience.

The event was graced by the presence of the School Management Committee members, Principal Rajani Shekhar, Vice-Principal P. K. Sahu, and Rekha Seal, mother of Late Seuli Seal.
