According to sources, discussions centered on the ongoing investigation into the Monday evening blast near Red Fort Metro Station and its potential connection to the massive cache of explosives recently uncovered in Faridabad. The blast occurred around 7 pm, and investigators suspect it may be linked to a broader terror network.

Following the explosion, the Home Minister directed a multi-agency probe involving the NIA, NSG, FSL, and Delhi Police to determine the nature, source, and intent behind the explosives used. Teams from the NIA and FSL revisited the site on Tuesday morning to collect additional forensic evidence.

Officials revealed that on Monday, Jammu and Kashmir Police, working jointly with Haryana Police, seized 360 kg of suspected ammonium nitrate and 2,900 kg of bomb-making materials—including chemicals, detonators, and wires—from a flat in Faridabad. Investigators believe the Delhi blast and the Faridabad seizure could be part of a coordinated terror module operating across multiple states.
