Jamshedpur, Nov 22: Jharkhand is expected to witness shallow to moderate fog during early morning hours over the next four days, followed by mainly clear to partly cloudy skies and dry weather conditions, according to the latest meteorological update.

On November 22, shallow to moderate fog is likely in the morning, with clear skies dominating later in the day.
From November 23 to 25, fog or mist may continue to appear during the morning hours, while the sky is forecast to remain partly cloudy as the day progresses.

Overall, the weather is likely to stay dry across the state throughout the period.
The Ranchi Meteorological Centre has stated that no significant synoptic weather system is currently affecting Jharkhand.

North-westerly to northerly winds are prevailing at lower tropospheric levels, contributing to the cool and dry conditions being experienced across the region.
Dry weather prevailed over the state during the past 24 hours.
The highest maximum temperature recorded was 30.4°C at Chaibasa on Friday, indicating warm daytime conditions in some parts.
Meanwhile, the coldest night was experienced in Gumla, where the minimum temperature dropped to 9.6°C — marking the onset of winter chills in the interior districts.
As the state transitions deeper into the winter season, residents can expect crisp mornings with low visibility due to fog, followed by pleasant daytime conditions under clear or mildly cloudy skies.
