Jamshedpur, Nov 28: Jharkhand continues to experience dry and stable weather as no significant synoptic system currently influences the state.

According to the latest meteorological assessment, northerly to north-easterly winds are prevailing in the lower tropospheric levels over Jharkhand, contributing to a steady fall in minimum temperatures.

With clear skies and continuous inflow of cold winds from the northern plains, near cold-wave conditions were reported from isolated pockets of western and central Jharkhand, where night temperatures dropped noticeably.

Districts in these regions witnessed sharp evening and early-morning chills, indicating the onset of stronger winter patterns in the coming days.

Despite the chill, no rainfall activity was observed anywhere in the state.

The atmosphere remained dry, and humidity levels dipped, particularly during afternoon hours.

The current weather pattern is expected to maintain similar conditions, with cold nights and mild, pleasant days across most districts.

Meteorologists suggest monitoring temperatures over the next 48 hours as some areas may edge closer to full cold-wave criteria if the northerly wind flow strengthens further.
