New Delhi, Nov 28: Russian President Vladimir Putin will make a two-day State Visit to India from December 4 to 5, 2025, at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) announced on Friday.

During his visit, President Putin will meet Prime Minister Modi for the 23rd India-Russia Annual Summit to review bilateral ties and discuss ways to enhance the ‘Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership’ between the two nations.

The agenda of the visit includes discussions on regional and global issues of mutual interest, as well as the progress made in strategic, economic, and diplomatic cooperation.

In addition, President Putin will be received by President Droupadi Murmu and will be hosted at a state banquet in his honour.
The MEA highlighted that the summit will offer both leaders an opportunity to set the vision for deeper collaboration and further consolidate the longstanding India-Russia partnership.
