New Delhi, Dec 20: Dense fog severely reduced visibility in the national capital on Saturday, leading to the cancellation of 66 incoming and outgoing flights at Indira Gandhi International Airport.

Although flight operations continued under low-visibility protocols, weather conditions disrupted several schedules, prompting authorities to alert passengers to possible delays and cancellations.

Delhi Airport authorities advised travellers to stay in touch with their respective airlines for real-time updates as low-visibility procedures remained in effect.

In a related development, IndiGo Airlines flagged potential disruptions on select routes, placing particular focus on Ranchi, along with Jammu and Hindon.
The airline said it is tracking weather conditions closely and urged passengers travelling on these sectors to check their flight status regularly.
“Low visibility and fog over #Ranchi, #Jammu and #Hindon (Airport) may impact flight schedules. We are closely monitoring the weather and doing our best to get you where you need to be, safely and smoothly. We request that you stay updated on your flight status bit.ly/3ZWAQXd.
