Deoghar, Dec 20: Jharkhand Governor Santosh Gangwar arrived in Dhanbad by helicopter on Saturday morning to attend a school function at Ratanpur in Tundi block.
The Governor was welcomed at the Barwadda airstrip by Dhanbad Deputy Commissioner (DC) Aditya Ranjan, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Prabhat Kumar, and other senior district officials. A guard of honour was also presented on his arrival.

Governor Gangwar will serve as the chief guest at the 36th Saraswati Vidya Mandir State Annual Sports Championship.
Given that Tundi block is considered a Naxal-affected area, heavy security arrangements have been deployed to ensure safety in the region.
