Jamshedpur, Dec 26: Tata Motors has taken another decisive step towards workforce regularisation by releasing a list of 225 temporary workers for medical examination at the company’s Labour Bureau Office in Jamshedpur.

The move is part of a tripartite agreement among the union, management and the government, under which 225 temporary workers are to be regularised every quarter.

In line with this understanding, the newly released list marks the ninth batch of temporary employees set to be absorbed as permanent staff at the Jamshedpur plant.

Union leaders termed the development a significant milestone in strengthening job security and stability for long-serving temporary workers.
Congratulating those selected, union general secretary R.K. Singh extended his best wishes to all workers named in the list, describing the occasion as a moment of pride and achievement for the workforce.

The regularisation process is expected to continue in the coming quarters as per the agreed framework, offering relief and long-term security to hundreds of workers at Tata Motors.
