Jamshedpur, March 17: Students from Sona Devi University participated in a one-day workshop on green energy and sustainability, gaining insights into renewable technologies and environmental conservation.

The workshop, held over the weekend, was organised by D.B.M.S. College of Education, Kadma, on the theme “Green Energy and Green Technology: The Future of Sustainable Development.”

Active Student Participation

A delegation of students, accompanied by two faculty members, took part in the event. Participants included students from the B.Sc. Agriculture, the School of Pharmacy, and B.Tech programmes.

The workshop brought together students, educators, and experts, creating a platform for discussions on the growing importance of renewable energy and eco-friendly innovations.

Focus on Awareness and Action

Through expert sessions and interactive discussions, the programme highlighted the urgent need for sustainable practices and environmental responsibility.

The participating students reaffirmed their commitment to environmental conservation and pledged to spread awareness within their communities. They also expressed their intention to adopt eco-friendly practices and encourage others to contribute towards a greener future.
