Daily Commuters Likely to Face Inconvenience
The cancellation of the Tatanagar–Rourkela MEMU is likely to cause particular inconvenience to daily commuters, including passengers travelling for work, education and other essential purposes.
The affected passenger and MEMU services are important transport links connecting industrial towns and adjoining areas of Jharkhand and Odisha. Their cancellation is expected to affect passengers travelling along sections of the Chakradharpur railway division, particularly those dependent on local and short-distance train services.
Passengers Advised to Check Train Status
Railway authorities have attributed the cancellations to operational constraints and advised passengers to take note of the revised train status.
Passengers have also been urged to make alternative travel arrangements to avoid last-minute inconvenience.
