Jamshedpur, October 29: Waterlogging on railway tracks between Jadhupudi and Ichchapuram stations in the Visakhapatnam railway division of Andhra Pradesh has disrupted train services, prompting South Eastern Railway’s Kharagpur division to cancel three trains and divert several others.
The disruption has affected long-distance trains originating from Shalimar, Santragachi and Kharagpur, potentially inconveniencing passengers travelling from Tatanagar and other stations in the region.
Railway authorities have advised passengers to check the latest operational status of their trains before beginning their journeys.

Railways Monitoring Track Conditions
The waterlogging has necessitated operational adjustments to long-distance services connecting eastern India with destinations in southern India.
Railway officials are monitoring the situation, and further changes may be introduced depending on track conditions and the extent of water accumulation.
Passengers have been urged to follow official railway announcements and check the latest updates through authorised railway platforms before travelling to avoid inconvenience.
