Dhanbad, January 18: A three-day handicraft exhibition cum awareness programme organized by the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India began at DAV Public School Rangamati Sindri.
Tara Devi, wife of Sindri MLA, inaugurated the exhibition in which students are participating and getting training of handicrafts.

DAV Public School Sindri principal Ashutosh Kumar welcomed the guests and highly appreciated the step of the textile department for organizing the exhibition and providing training to students in arts.

Assistant director of handicrafts Bhuban Bhasker on the occasion shed light on the mission of organizing the exhibition cum awareness programme and said that children of Jharkhand would be imparted training on bamboo craft, Sohrai, folk arts, embroidering and textiles.
On the occasion, students of the school impressed the guests by showcasing their on-the-spot made paintings and handicrafts.

Senior teachers of DAV Public School Sindri, Sarita Singh, Ravi Ranjan Roshan, Mukesh Tiwary, Amit Kumar, VK Dwivedi, Maheswary Prasad Pandey and others were also present on the occasion.
