Jamshedpur, January 24: Motilal Nehru Public School witnessed a spectacular display of talent today as it hosted the Inter School Hindi Drama Competition in its well-appointed auditorium. The event showcased the dramatic prowess of students from class III to class VIII, with each house presenting captivating performances.

Professor Dr. Ragini Bhushan graced the event from Kolhan University, who presided as the chief guest. Dr Bhushan, renowned for her expertise in the field, added a touch of scholarly grace to the occasion.

Students were divided into houses

The participating students were divided into houses, each tasked with delivering a unique and compelling performance. In the Junior category, the Blue House presented “One in the Blue House” and “Jeevan Hai,” while the Green House showcased “Khwahisheen.” The Red House enthralled the audience with “Jal” and “Hee Jeevan Hai,” and the Yellow House delivered powerful performances with “Hauslon Ke Sher” and “Ashok Vatika Mein Sita” in the Junior and Senior categories, respectively.

Impeccable acting skills and stage presence

The students left an indelible mark with their impeccable acting skills and stage presence. In her address to the students, Dr Ragini Bhushan commended their outstanding performances and shared valuable insights into the art of drama. She appreciated the effort and dedication put forth by the participants.

The event was a celebration of dramatic talent and an opportunity for the students to learn from a distinguished figure in the academic realm. The school’s Principal,  Ashu Tiwari, Vice Principal  Rakhi Mitra, Senior Coordinator  Renu Sinha, and all the teachers of the Hindi Department graced the occasion with their presence, adding to the event’s significance.
