New Delhi, Feb 9: Former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi, her daughters Misa Bharti and Hema Yadav, and other accused in the Land-for-Jobs money laundering case were all granted interim bail till February 28 by Delhi’s Rouse Avenue court on Friday.
The court summoned them upon reviewing the charge sheet filed by the Enforcement Directorate (ED).
Special Judge Vishal Gogne provided interim bail to Rabri Devi, her daughters, and Hridyanand Chaudhary upon posting a bail bond of Rs one lakh and a surety bond of equal value.
The next scheduled hearing for bail consideration is on February 28, 2024.

Special public prosecutor Manish Jain, representing the ED, requested additional time to submit the reply. He proposed that interim relief be granted until the reply is submitted.
Senior advocate Maninder Singh, the accused’s counsel, contended that since they weren’t arrested during the investigation, they should be granted bail in light of the Supreme Court’s ruling.
In the course of the proceedings, the court questioned the ED about its requirement for the custody of the accused, considering they had not been arrested during the agency’s investigation.
The court also noted that although the accused were not arrested during the investigation, a formal response might still be necessary.
