Ranchi, February 13: Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) K Ravi Kumar announced a contest today with a prize of Rs 10 lakh for producing content on awareness for voters.

At a workshop, he appealed to artists, including local filmmakers, directors, actors, actresses, and painters, to participate in the reel, short film, music video, and poster-making competition.

The objective of the workshop was to give detailed information about the Jharkhand Voter Awareness Contest to various categories of artists of Ranchi, like painters, musicians, lyricists, social media influencers, film directors, actors-actresses, etc. and to make them aware of the rules of the contest.

Addressing the artists, Kumar said that this is an excellent opportunity when they can not only make the best use of their art by becoming partners in promoting the great festival of democracy but also have the chance to win awards.

It was told that detailed information for participating in four categories of competitions, like short films, music videos, reel making, and poster making, can also be obtained from the Chief Electoral Officer’s website. There is also a provision for prizes worth up to Rs 10 lakh for the said competition.

Last date for entry

The last date of this competition has been set as March 31, 2024.

After receiving the entries in all categories, the best creations will be selected and awarded by the jury formed at the headquarters level. The concerned participants’ social media engagement will also be considered while deciding the awards.
