AHPI Jharkhand elects new executive committee, Dr Rajesh named president

 

Ranchi, April 28: The Association of Healthcare Providers (India) (AHPI), Jharkhand Chapter, has formed its new Executive Committee during a key meeting held at Rani Hospital in Ranchi on April 27.

New office bearers elected

The Executive Committee unanimously elected the following members:
President: Dr Rajesh Kumar (Rani Hospital, Ranchi)
Vice Presidents: Siddhant Jain (Orchid Hospital) and Harsh Ajmera (Aigyam Hospital)
Secretary: Dr Shambhu Prasad Singh (Kanke General Hospital)
Treasurer: Sahil Gambhir (Raj Hospital)
Joint Secretaries: Dr Dinesh Kumar (Prime Hospital, Ramgarh) and Dr Ramnesh Kumar (Singhpur Nursing Home, Muri)

In addition, General Body Members from across Jharkhand were elected to represent various districts and healthcare institutions.

Leaders extend support

Outgoing president Sayeed Ahmad Ansari highlighted the work and achievements during his tenure and expressed confidence that the organisation would reach new heights under the leadership of Dr Rajesh Kumar.

Patron Yogesh Gambhir congratulated the newly elected members, while Dr Ajay Kumar Singh, also a patron, extended his support to the new committee.

Key decisions taken

The Executive Committee decided to hold virtual meetings on the first Tuesday of every month at 8:00 PM. Quarterly General Body Meetings will also be organised.

The installation ceremony of the new committee is scheduled for the third week of June 2026, with the exact date to be announced.

Focus on healthcare collaboration

The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to strengthen healthcare services in Jharkhand. The AHPI Jharkhand Chapter aims to bring private healthcare providers onto a common platform to improve the quality of care, policy advocacy, and patient service standards, while also representing the sector in discussions with the government.

“This committee will continue to serve as a strong and unified platform for healthcare providers in Jharkhand, fostering collaboration, enhancing quality standards, and ensuring better patient care across the state,” said Dr Rajesh Kumar, President, AHPI Jharkhand Chapter.
