Mumbai, Sept 22: Bollywood’s latest courtroom comedy “Jolly LLB 3”, led by Akshay Kumar, has made a strong start at the domestic box office, raking in ₹53.5 crore nett in its first three days.
On its third day alone, the film brought in ₹21 crore nett, according to trade tracker Sacnilk.
Released on September 19, the movie continues the popular franchise that began in 2013 with Jolly LLB, starring Arshad Warsi as a struggling lawyer from Meerut.

The sequel, Jolly LLB 2 (2017), introduced Kumar as another small-town lawyer, Jolly Mishra from Kanpur.
Directed once again by Subhash Kapoor and produced by Star Studio18, the latest installment features Amrita Rao and Saurabh Shukla alongside Kumar.
