On December 4, a day before the release of ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’, a premiere of the film was held at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad, where Allu Arjun was also present. After Allu Arjun exited the theatre, a stampede occurred, resulting in the death of a woman named Revathi. Several others, including her son Shriteja, were seriously injured.

In connection with the incident, Revathi’s husband, Mogadampalli Bhaskar, has filed a case against Allu Arjun, his security agency, and the theatre.

The police stated that the theatre management had made no arrangements or provided prior information about the actor’s arrival. Additionally, there was no separate entry or exit for the audience. The stampede occurred when the theatre gates, overwhelmed by the pressure of the crowd, collapsed.
