Ranchi, Dec. 12: Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has launched the poster of a film being made on the bravery and struggle of Bhagwan Birsa Munda during the KBC programme.
Big B, on this occasion, congratulated actor Suchi Kumar and said that Bhagwan Birsa Munda was such a great revolutionary and warrior on whom it is very difficult to make a film. He expressed happiness over a film being made on Birsa Munda.
Notably, all the preparations for making the film on Dharti Aaba have been completed. It is said that the shooting of the film will start from Lord Birsa Munda’s village Ulihatu in March 2024.
Who will play Birsa Munda’s role?
Actor Suchi Kumar will play the role of Bhagwan Birsa Munda in this film. The director of the film is N Raghavan. Inspired by the biography of Birsa Munda, he is quite serious about making a film.
Suchi Kumar said, “I have been studying the biography of Lord Birsa Munda for the last five years for this film.” The actor said that he went to the village of Dharti Aaba and also met his family members and tried to get complete information in detail. Apart from this, he is continuously studying other subjects by meeting old people and getting information about their living habits and lifestyle.
The actor said that a book has been written by writer Manish Kumar Pandey on Dharti Aaba Bhagwan Birsa Munda, which has been published by Raj Mangal Publications.

The film’s director, N Raghavan, wants to make such a film that people feel that they are watching the living Bhagwan Birsa Munda, who is continuing the fight against British rule. This film will be such that people not only in Jharkhand, not only in the entire country but also in foreign countries will take inspiration from the bravery of Bhagwan Birsa Munda.
