BCCL Director (Personnel) Murli Krishna Ramaiah, Nirsa MLA Arup Chatterjee, and Archna Agrawal, wife of the BCCL CMD, were also present on the occasion.

This is the first time that a CMD of BCCL has felicitated a doctor from Dhanbad Sadar Hospital for outstanding medical service. Despite BCCL running its own chain of hospitals, no doctor from those institutions has received this honour so far.

Journey as Hospital Administrator

Impressed by his performance, the then Governor Ramesh Bais appointed him as the first Deputy Superintendent of Dhanbad Sadar Hospital in 2022. He was later transferred to Sahibganj Sadar Hospital, where his surgical work significantly improved health services.
