Dhanbad, Dec 2: BIT  Sindri’s chemical engineering branch society’s mega annual fest  Quimica’23 began today.

Director Prof Pankaj Rai of  BIT Sindri will inaugurate the week-long  (December 2 to 7)  programme in which scholars and experts from the country and abroad will discuss innovations and developments in the chemical engineering field.

In a week-long programme, four webinars will be organized on cutting-edge topics, while the two events will be held for participants to showcase their skills and creativity.

“This annual affair will give an engaging experience, featuring illuminating webinars and lively events that serve students and professionals to explore the cutting edge of chemical advancements”, said Dr Satyam Singh, the coordinator of the mega annual fest. “It’s a convergence of minds, a celebration of talent, and a platform to shape the future of chemical engineering”, he added further.

Organizing committee members of Quimica 2023 mega fest

The coordinator said the esteemed speakers,  Prafull Kumar, Dream Realized LLC’s president, Dr. Sandip Patil, founder-director of E-spin Nanotech Pvt. Ltd., Dr. Rajesh Ranjan, assistant professor at IIT Kanpur and Chirag Jain, executive trainee at GAIL India Ltd., will share their insights along with local expert faculty members during the programme.

Director Prof. Pankaj Rai, HoD, Dr Amit. Kumar Gupta, Dr Amar Kumar, Dr Ajay Oraon, Dr Usha Kumari  ( secretary Alumni Association), Dr Sunil Kumar Singh, Manish Kumar, Dr Diwakar Pandey, Dr Abhishek Anand Hembram, Dr Ashok Kumar Barnbal,  Dr Nirupma,, Pitho Hansda, Dr V Raghunath, Devina Ratnam, Poornima  Pandey among other faculties graced the occasion.
