BIT Sindri teacher gets Venus International Women Award

Dhanbad, Dec 1: Dr Usha Kumari, assistant professor, BIT Sindri Chemical Engineering Department, has been selected for Venus International Women Awards 2024.

R Sathishkumar, the chairman of Venus International Foundation, Chennai has in this regard informed Dr Usha Kumari as well as the BIT Sindri management. She has been selected for the award for Yong Women Researcher in Chemical Engineering.

The governing council of Venus  International Foundation has selected Dr Usha Kumari of BIT Sindri, Jharkhand for the international award on the recommendation of an experts’ committee.

The award would be given to Dr Usha Kumari  during the Annual Women’s Meet (AWM) scheduled to be held on March 2, 2024.

Jharkhand University of Technology Ranchi Vice-Chancellor Prof DK Singh, BIT Sindri Director Dr Pankaj Rai and  teachers  of different departments have   congratulated  Dr Usha Kumari for the this outstanding  international award.

“We, the family of BIT Sindri congratulate her on this great achievement and best wishes for the future endeavour,” said Dr Amit  Kumar, HoD, chemical engineering department.

Senior faculty member  Maya Raj Naray Ray, Prof Rajiv Ranjan  alumni Prof Ramjee Prasad,  BIT Sindri Alumni Association president Atul Ray, Pawak Kumar Ojha  secretary, Sweta Kumari, vice-president Umesh Prasad Sah have also congratulated Dr Usha Kumari.
