Marandi targets state government over law and order
Addressing the gathering, Babulal Marandi alleged that the Hemant Soren-led government had pushed Jharkhand into a “grim situation,” claiming that law and order had collapsed. He said cases of theft, loot, rape and extortion had become routine, and that progress was impossible without peace.
He accused the state government of engaging police in “collection drives” instead of security duties and said farmers, youth and women were facing distress. “Farmers are being forced to sell paddy at throwaway prices,” Marandi said, adding that the BJP was committed to Jharkhand’s overall development.

‘Modi government focused on poor and marginalised’
Working president Aditya Sahu said the Narendra Modi-led central government was dedicated to the development of villages, farmers, Dalits and the underprivileged, adding that the country’s poor had been brought into the mainstream over the past 11 years.
Former chief minister Arjun Munda described December 6 as a “day of valour” in Indian history, saying the people paved the way for the construction of the Ram Temple, a vision fulfilled under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership.
Union Minister Annapurna Devi said the goal was to turn the vision of a developed and self-reliant India under PM Modi into reality.

Leaders highlight tribal development, demographic concerns
Former chief minister Champai Soren alleged that governance had collapsed in Jharkhand and claimed that the state’s demography was being altered due to illegal infiltration. He said the BJP had historically worked for tribal development, citing Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s contribution in forming the separate state, creating a tribal ministry and including Santhali in the Eighth Schedule.
Former CM Madhu Koda called for taking the party’s message to every household to build a “developed Jharkhand.”
MP Nishikant Dubey said BJP workers were the party’s greatest strength and its offices served as centres of inspiration for workers.
Several other senior leaders, including former state presidents, MPs and MLAs, also addressed the convention.
The event was conducted by Balmukund Sahay, while district president Sachin Rawani delivered the vote of thanks.
