Ranchi, Nov 2: The BJP today raked up the issue of discrepancies in the age of Chief Minister Hemant Soren as mentioned in the affidavit. It also promised Rs 3000 as an old age pension in Jharkhand.
Union Agriculture Minister and Jharkhand Assembly Election Incharge Shivraj Singh Chauhan, addressing an election meeting in Hussainabad and Bishnupur, said in five years, the JMM alliance government had made 144 promises, but not a single promise was fulfilled.
Hemant Soren is an amazing magician
The Union Minister said that the chief minister of Jharkhand is an amazing magician. “He had mentioned his age in 2019 as 42 years, now in 2024, 5 years have passed, so according to 5 years, the age is 47 years, but look at the speed of Hemant Soren that instead of 5 years, his age has increased by 7 years. Now he is saying in his affidavit that he has become 49 years old. Either he does not remember his age, or he is used to lying. “How can the one who is telling the wrong age do the welfare and development of the people of the state?” he asked.
Those who leaked the paper will go to jail
Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan targeted the Jharkhand government and said that the Soren government has played with the future of the youth of Jharkhand. “Papers have been leaked here many times. Therefore, as soon as the Bharatiya Janata Party government is formed in Jharkhand, the paper leak case will be investigated and the culprits will be sent to jail,” he said.
“The BJP has resolved that as soon as the government is formed, the proposal to fill 2 lakh 87 thousand vacant posts will be approved in the first cabinet. A calendar will be made to decide when the examination will be held, when the result will come and when the appointment letters will be distributed. He said that along with 2 lakh 87 thousand recruitments, 5 lakh new opportunities will also be given,” he said.
On the other hand, Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma, while addressing an election rally in Panki, promised that the BJP government will give Rs 3000 old age pension.
