New Delhi, Feb 8: The BJP has secured a commanding victory in the Delhi Assembly elections, winning 48 seats.
Meanwhile, the AAP has secured 22 seats. The Congress has failed to secure a single seat.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed gratitude to the people of Delhi for giving a clear mandate in favor of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the Assembly elections.

AAP Chief Arvind Kejriwal has lost the election from New Delhi seat, with BJP’s Parvesh Verma defeating him by 3,186 votes.
On the other hand, CM Atishi has secured a win from Kalkaji seat, defeating BJP’s Ramesh Bidhuri.
AAP’s Durgesh Pathak has also faced defeat from the Rajendra Nagar seat, while Somnath Bharti of the Aam Aadmi Party has lost from Malviya Nagar.
In Jangpura, Manish Sisodia has lost to BJP’s Tarvinder Singh Marwah by 594 votes.
In Kondli, AAP candidate Kuldeep Kumar emerged victorious by 8,061 votes. From Tri Nagar, BJP’s Tilak Ram Gupta secured a win, while Om Prakash Sharma of the BJP won from Vishwas Nagar.
