Shah shared photographs of the flag-hoisting on social media platform X, writing “Today, under the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, I hoisted the tricolor at my residence. The ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, initiated under the leadership of Modi ji, has today become a people’s movement that binds the nation in the thread of unity and strengthens the spirit of patriotism. This campaign demonstrates that the 140 crore citizens of the country are determined to develop and make the best of the free India that countless freedom fighters realized through their sacrifice, penance, and dedication.”

The Har Ghar Tiranga initiative encourages citizens to hoist the national flag at their homes and workplaces between August 13 and 15. Under the associated Swachhata Hi Seva Hai effort, the campaign also emphasises cleanliness.
