Born for mission, not fun; I neither have a bicycle nor a house, says PM Modi in Jharkhand

Ranchi, May 4: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today launched a scathing attack on the Congress-JMM leaders, saying they have created immense wealth through corruption.

“Be it property, or politics, they are earning everything for their children. They will leave behind a lot of black money as their inheritance,” he said while addressing an election rally in Daltonganj.

“On the other hand, it will now be 25 years since I served the countrymen as CM and PM. In these 25 years, with your blessings, Modi has not been accused of even a single penny scam. Even today, away from position, prestige, happiness and prosperity, I am still the same as you had sent me here. I neither have a bicycle nor a house. Modi was born not for fun, but for a mission,” the prime minister told a cheering crowd.

Later, he also addressed an election rally at Sisai in Lohardaga constituency and sought to vote for Sameer Oraon.

Power of one vote

Referring to Jammu and Kashmir, PM Modi said that with the power of one vote, the wall of Article 370 was buried in the ground in Jammu and Kashmir. He said that your one vote fulfilled the hopes of many mothers.

“In 2014, your one vote did such a thing that the whole world started saluting the strength of India’s democracy. In 2014, you had removed the corrupt Congress government with your single vote. Your one vote formed the BJP-NDA government,” he pointed out.

Ram temple after 500 years

The Prime Minister further said that due to the power of this one vote of yours, today India is making waves in the entire world. Many of our generations kept struggling and waiting for 500 years, lakhs of people were martyred, and the struggle went on for 500 years. Perhaps nowhere in history has there been such a long conflict as the one that took place in Ayodhya.

“The work not done in 500 years, was completed with your one vote and today Ram temple has been built in Ayodhya.”

Controlled Naxalite terrorism

In our Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Bihar and Andhra Pradesh, from Pashupati to Tirupati, Naxalism bled the land. Your one vote fulfilled the hopes of many mothers and freed this earth from Naxalite terrorism.

‘Pakistan is crying all over the world’

“There was a situation when after the terrorist attack, the cowardly Congress government used to cry all over the world, but today the situation is that Pakistan is crying all over the world.”

“Today the leaders of Pakistan are praying to make the prince of Congress the PM, but a strong India now wants a strong government. The whole of India is saying – Strong government for strong India, Modi government for strong government.”

Modi on job creation

Modi further said he wants to increase employment here and bring prosperity to your life, but the eyes of Congress people have fallen on your land and property. Congress-JMM does not see anything else, he added.

Will not allow reservation based on religion

“My tribal, Dalit and backward brothers and sisters, keep it in writing that as long as Modi is alive, I will not allow even an iota of reservation for Dalits, backward classes and tribals to be given to their vote bank-based on religion. I will not allow any tampering with the Constitution.”

“Congress and the INDI alliance have said another dangerous thing. These people now want to snatch the reservation of SC-ST-OBC. When our Constitution was being made, the framers of the Constitution had together decided that reservation would never be given based on religion in India.”

“But now Congress-JMM and RJD together want to rob the reservation of tribals, backward classes and Dalits and give it to Muslims based on religion. Congress is making this announcement, but JMM and RJD are silent on this and are keeping it silent.”
