Ranchi, Oct 15: The Election Commission today announced to hold assembly elections in Jharkhand in two phases starting November 13. The results will be declared on November 23.
Voting dates for the two phases will be November 13 and November 20.
There are 81 constituencies in Jharkhand, of these, 43 constituencies will vote in the first phase, and 38 in the second phase.
The assembly polls in the state, which has a large tribal population, were held in five phases in 2014 and 2019.

The main parties in Jharkhand include BJP, All Jharkhand Students Union (AJSU), Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), Congress and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD).
