Ranchi, February 2: 1999-batch IAS officer Vinay Kumar Choubey was appointed today as Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Champai Soren. Its notification was issued by the Department of Personnel, Administrative Reforms and Official Language on Friday.
Chaubey was also principal secretary to former Chief Minister Hemant Soren. He had quit the post after Hemant Soren resigned on February 1 following the latter’s arrest on January 31.
