Ranchi, February 10: In a display of talent, creativity and cultural richness, DPS Ranchi celebrated its annual day today for classes Prep and Nursery at the Vivekananda Auditorium.

The programme was an amalgamation of various hues befitting the theme ‘SITAARE – The Twinkling Stars…’

Mesmerising welcome song

The cultural fiesta unfolded with a mesmerising welcome song. It was followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and sapling presentation to the esteemed luminaries.

Justice Sujit Narayan Prasad, Jharkhand High Court and his wife, Niru Prasad, graced the show.

The Principal of the school, Dr. Ram Singh, in his inaugural address, extended a warm welcome to one and all present on the occasion and recapitulated all the activities undertaken during the academic session 2023-24, highlighting the achievements of the school and the students.

Justice Prasad, in his address, opined that the students have smartly carved a niche for themselves. He added that education earns wisdom only if academics are not taken as the end but as a means to progress.

He congratulated the management of DPS Ranchi for maintaining these parameters to be of foremost importance and for providing excellent facilities and opportunities to its young learners. He applauded the school’s incredible achievements over 35 glorious years in scholastic and non-scholastic areas.
