New Delhi, Feb 15: The CBSE board examinations for Classes 10 and 12 commenced on Saturday, with more than 44 lakh students from 8,000 schools, including international locations, taking part.
The exams are being held at 7,842 centres across India and 26 centres abroad, running from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
On the opening day, Class 10 students are writing the English (Communicative) and English (Language and Literature) papers, while Class 12 students are appearing for the Entrepreneurship exam.

The Class 10 exams will continue until March 18, while Class 12 exams will conclude on April 4.

CBSE has ensured a well-structured schedule, with sufficient gaps between major subjects to reduce stress for students.
Admit cards for the exams were provided through the Pariksha Sangam Portal. Regular students are required to carry their school IDs along with their admit cards, while private candidates must present a government-issued photo ID.
To facilitate a smooth examination process, CBSE conducted a live webcast on its YouTube channel on Friday afternoon, where centre superintendents and officials were briefed on examination and evaluation guidelines.
