Centre announces new permanent judges for Allahabad and Andhra High Courts

New Delhi, August 21: The Law and Justice Ministry of the Central Government on Wednesday officially announced the appointment of several Additional Judges as permanent Judges of the Allahabad High Court and the Andhra Pradesh High Court.

The notification stated that, under the authority granted by the Constitution of India, the President of India, following consultation with the Chief Justice of India, has appointed the Additional Judges as Permanent Judges to the Allahabad and Andhra Pradesh High Courts.

The notification specifies that nine Additional Judges of the Allahabad High Court have been elevated to Permanent Judges. The judges appointed are Justice Syed Qamar Hasan Rizvi, Justice Manish Kumar Nigam, Justice Anish Kumar Gupta, Justice Nand Prabha Shukla, Justice Kshitij Shailendra, Justice Vinod Diwakar, Justice Prashant Kumar, Justice Manjive Shukla, and Justice Arun Kumar Singh Deshwal.

Justice Venkata Jyothirmai Pratapa has been appointed as a Permanent Judge of the Andhra Pradesh High Court. Furthermore, Justice Venuthurumalli Gopala Krishna Rao, who is an Additional Judge, has also been elevated to the position of Permanent Judge of the Andhra Pradesh High Court.
