Ranchi, Feb 13: President Droupadi Murmu will visit Ranchi on February 14 for two days. She will participate in the BIT Mesra platinum jubilee programme and then return to Delhi on February 15. Preparations for her arrival in Ranchi are in full swing. Changes have also been made in the traffic system of Ranchi regarding this.

Changes in Ranchi’s traffic system:

– 14 February: Entry of big vehicles in the city will be prohibited from 8 am to 10 pm.

– 14 February: Entry of small cargo vehicles in the city will be prohibited from 3 pm to 7 pm.

– 14 February: From 3 pm to 6 pm, vehicles going towards Kanke, Ratu, Kathitand, Daladli, Katahal Mor will be able to go to their destination from the city via Main Road, Lalpur Road, and Kantatoli Road.

– 14 February: From 3 pm to 6 pm, use the road as little as possible up to Airport Road, Hinoo Chowk, Birsa Chowk, Argora Chowk, Sahajanand Chowk, Kishoreganj Chowk, New Market Chowk, Hotlips Chowk, Raj Bhavan Mor.

– 14 February: All vehicles coming towards the city from Kanke Road, Ratu Road, Kathal Mor, and Kathitand can enter the city via Kanke Ring Road, Lalpur Chowk, and Kantatoli Road. As per requirement, other routes can be diverted and stopped for a short time.

– 15 February: Entry of big vehicles in the city will be prohibited from 8 am to 10 pm. On this day, large vehicles coming from Palamu, Garhwa, Latehar, Gumla will be able to turn right from Kathitand, Tilata Chowk and go to their destination via Ring Road.

– 15 February: Large vehicles coming from Jamshedpur, which have to go towards Palamu, can turn left from Rampur Ring Road Chowk and go to their destination.

– 15 February: Large vehicles coming from Hazaribagh, which have to go towards Palamu, Gumla, can turn left from Nevri (Vikas) Ring Road Chowk and go to their destination via Rampur Chowk.

– 15 February: All large vehicles coming from Pithoria will be able to turn right from Kanke Ring Road Chowk and go to their destination.

– 15 February: All small vehicles entering the city from Kanke will enter the city via Piska Mod, Pandra via Ring Road from 09:30 am to 11:00 am.

– 15 February: All vehicles going to Ranchi Railway Station can go through the main road and under the flyover through Bahu Bazar.

– 15 February: Minimize the use of road from Kanke Ring Road to Newari Ring Road from 09:30 am to 01:30 pm.

– 15 February: Minimize the use of road from Newari Ring Road to BIT Mode from 09:30 am to 01:30 pm. Minimize the use of road from BIT Mode to Buti Mode, Kantatoli Chowk, Flyover, Siram Toli Chowk, Sujata Chowk, Doranda Thana Chowk, Hinoo Chowk.

Important information for passengers going to the airport

All passengers going to the airport on February 14 are appealed to reach the airport by 03:30 pm whose flight is between 04:00 pm to 05:30 pm. Passengers going to the airport on February 15, whose flight is between 11:00 am and 01:30 pm, should take the trouble of reaching the airport by 11:30 am.

Important information for Matric and Intermediate candidates

Matric and Intermediate candidates, whose exam is on February 15 in the first shift, should reach the exam centre by 09:30 am. Second-shift candidates should reach the exam centre by 12 noon.
