Chill intensifies, Sub-10 chill prevails in Jharkhand

Jamshedpur, Dec 13:  The chill has intensified in most districts of Jharkhand due to the dominating north-westerly winds.

Met data revealed that sub-10 chill was prevailing in Ranchi, Deoghar, Garhwa, Daltonganj, Ramgarh and several other places where the minimum temperature dropped below 10 degrees Celsius.

Schools in Jamshedpur and several other places implemented winter timing.

Weathermen said there won’t be much variations in minimum temperature during the next 48 hours.

No significant synoptic condition prevails over Jharkhand.

Sona Devi University

Dry and clear weather prevailed over the state during the past 24 hours.

The highest maximum temperature of 29.4°C was recorded at Chaibasa while the lowest minimum temperature of 8.3°C was recorded at Ramgarh.
