PINAKI MAJUMDAR

Jamshedpur, Jan 24: If the forecast of IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre is any indication the chill is going to intensify from tomorrow.

Weathermen at Ranchi Meteorological Centre predicted a 3-4 degree fall in Celsius in the next four days.

The Met centre attributed dominating north-westerly currents for bringing back the chill. No significant synoptic condition prevails over Jharkhand.

Ranchi today recorded a minimum temperature of 13.8 degrees Celsius while Jamshedpur recorded 14.6 degrees Celsius.

Daltonganj today recorded a minimum temperature of 12 degrees Celsius while Bokaro recorded 12.2 degrees Celsius.

According to statistics, Chatra recorded the state’s lowest minimum temperature of 9.2 degrees Celsius today.

The cyclonic circulation over southeast Rajasthan now lies over southwest Madhya Pradesh at 0.9 Km above mean sea level.
