Ranchi, April 3: Citizens Foundation, a Ranchi-headquartered NGO, has launched a book on completing 10 years of mandated Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in India. Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh released the book, ‘A Decade of Mandated Corporate Social Responsibility: Interventions, Insights, Impact, and Beyond,’ at the India Habitat Centre on Monday in New Delhi.

Dr Bhaskar Chatterjee, widely acclaimed as the father of Indian CSR, Ms Rupinder Brar, Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Coal, and Ganesh Reddy, the founder of Citizens Foundation, along with a large number of people from the development sector, were present on the occasion. TV host Richa Jain Kalra anchored the programme.

Speaking on the occasion, Harivansh shared valuable insights and praised all the authors for their contributions.
The book, a collection of insightful articles on various CSR issues, has been edited by Dr Bhashkar Chatterjee and Dr Nayan Mitra. Ganesh Reddy wrote the preface.
The attendees pledged to embrace a sustainable approach for the future.
