Badayun, Feb 3: A civil judge reportedly died after committing suicide on Saturday at her official residence in Badayun.

The deceased, Justice Jyotsana Rai, hailing from Mau, had been stationed in Badayun for one year.

Sources mentioned that the police were notified by her aides after she failed to respond to her door on Saturday morning.

The district judge, SSP and judicial authorities arrived at the judge’s home after learning about the occurrence.
