New Delhi, September 3: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren inaugurated the New Jharkhand Bhavan in Delhi on Tuesday.
The building has been constructed on Bangla Sahib Road in Connaught Place and is equipped with modern amenities. It also houses several government offices, which was taken into consideration during its construction.
The program began with the beats of Mandar-Nagada and traditional songs. Tribal artists from Delhi performed a series of captivating dances and songs.
CM Hemant meets Rahul Gandhi, Kharge
Hemant Soren also met with Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, in Delhi on Tuesday as a courtesy visit.
Congress General Secretary K.C. Venugopal and MLA Kalpana Soren were also present during the meeting.

After the meeting, Hemant Soren told the media that he had intended to meet Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge but had been unable to find time earlier. He said that when the opportunity arose, he took the chance to have a courtesy meeting with them.

When asked if there was any discussion about the upcoming elections, he confirmed that election-related discussions had taken place and that the framework for the elections had been prepared.
Regarding questions on caste-based census, Hemant Soren remarked that some people are focused on making statements, and they should be allowed to do so. He emphasized that his focus remains on performing his duties and running the government effectively.
