Ranchi, March 27: Chief Minister Hemant Soren, along with his wife and MLA Kalpana Soren, offered prayers on the occasion of Ram Navami at the Shri Ram Janaki Tapovan Temple in Nivaranpur, Ranchi.
CM calls for unity and social harmony during celebrations
The Chief Minister performed rituals with full traditional rites and prayed for the progress, peace, and prosperity of the state. He also extended greetings to the people and urged them to celebrate the festival with unity and harmony.

“Let us make the grand festival of Ram Navami historic and memorable through social harmony and unity. We should also imbibe the ideals of Lord Shri Ram in our lives,” he said.
Soren said he felt fortunate to participate in the celebrations and noted that a large number of devotees and processions from various akhadas gathered at the temple.

Highlighting the significance of the temple, the Chief Minister said Tapovan has a rich historical identity and that efforts are underway to enhance its grandeur.
“The beautification work of the temple is progressing fast, and we hope it is completed soon,” he said, adding that prayers were offered for the well-being of all citizens.
Earlier, the Chief Minister also performed rituals at the temple located within his official residence.
