Ramgarh, October 18: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren performed the traditional Dashakarma rituals for his late mother, Rupi Soren, with devotion and in accordance with established customs at his ancestral village of Nemra in Ramgarh district.
The Chief Minister completed the religious and traditional ceremonies in the presence of family members, relatives and villagers, following local customs and social traditions. He paid tribute to his late mother while fulfilling the family and social responsibilities associated with the ritual.
A large number of relatives, well-wishers and villagers attended the ceremonies and participated in the traditional observances.
Relatives and Well-Wishers Continue to Visit Nemra
Following the demise of Rupi Soren, relatives, well-wishers and visitors from different areas have continued to arrive at the Chief Minister’s ancestral residence in Nemra to offer their condolences.
Visitors have been meeting Hemant Soren and his family members to express their grief and pay tribute to the departed, praying for peace for the late Rupi Soren.
Arrangements for Ritual Feast Nearly Complete
Preparations for the traditional ritual feast being organised in memory of Rupi Soren are almost complete. The Chief Minister is personally monitoring the arrangements to ensure that relatives, villagers, well-wishers and other visitors do not face inconvenience.
Arrangements are being made for food, drinking water, cleanliness, lighting and other essential facilities. Pavilions and seating arrangements have also been organised to accommodate visitors.
Administration Makes Arrangements for Traffic and Crowd Management
The local administration has made arrangements to maintain law and order in Nemra and surrounding areas during the ritual feast.
Keeping the expected gathering in mind, officials are focusing on traffic management, vehicle parking and ensuring smooth movement around the venue. Administrative teams are monitoring the arrangements to ensure that the programme takes place peacefully and in an orderly manner.
