Ranchi, Sept 25: Former Chief Minister Arjun Munda today questioned the failures of the JMM-led government.

“Today the biggest concern of parents is that their son gets employment, but the state government made the youth run so much in the excise constable recruitment process that 17 youth died. This is extremely shameful and unfortunate,” he maintained.

Addressed the ‘Parivartan Sabha’ at the Guest House Ground of Saraikela Assembly, he said that Jharkhand was formed in the year 2000 under the leadership of Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji, and now the responsibility of improving it is on all of us.

Arjun Munda, while highlighting the achievements of the BJP government, said that the BJP government has established Eklavya Vidyalayas in the Santhal region, due to which tribal children are getting better educational opportunities.

Gua and Chirudih firings

On the contrary, he accused, the Congress government of doing injustice to the tribals. He said that many incidents like the Gua firing and Chirudih firing are bitter memories of the Congress rule when tribals were fired upon.

Arjun Munda said that the credit for making Droupadi Murmu the President goes to the BJP, which is proof of the party’s tribal-friendly policies. He further said, “All the firing incidents in the Kolhan region have happened during the Congress rule. If we have to save our soil and forest, then we have to bring change and uproot the anti-people government of the state.”

With this Parivartan Sabha, the chariot of BJP’s ‘Parivartan Yatra’ started from Kolhan division, which will establish direct communication with the people across the state and propagate the policies of the BJP.

Change is certain: Champai Soren

Former Chief Minister Champai Soren joined the Parivartan Yatra organized in Seraikela and roared against the state government.

Addressing the public meeting, Champai Soren said that today the crowd of people here has said that change is certain. “Santhal Pargana was created on the tip of an arrow by Sido-Kanhu by sacrificing. Today, the interests of the tribals are being threatened in the same Santhal Pargana, for whom a separate Jharkhand state was created. Thousands of our ancestors fought and sacrificed to create Santhal Pargana. Today Bangladeshi infiltration is taking place there,” he said.
