Jamshedpur, May 19: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today lashed out at the INDI Alliance, especially Congress and JMM while addressing an election rally at the Moubhandar Football Ground in Ghatshila, around 42 Kms away from Jamshedpur.
Noto ke dher in Jharkhand
” Jharkhand ka naam sunte hi kaun sa drishya saamne ata hai. Noto ke dher, Jharkhand’ sunte hi noto ke pahar dekhne ko milta hai.Jo officer jail mein hai wo, jo mukhyamantri jail mein sadh rahe wo hai Jharkhand . Congress aur JMM kali kamai ka ambaar laga rakha hai,” said the Prime Minister during his speech which lasted for about half an hour.
JMM-Congress looted Jharkhand
He went on to say, ” Congress, JMM and RJD jaise party ne hamare Jharkhand ko har mauke pe luta aur Congress bhrashtachar ki janani hai, ” ( Parties like Congress, JMM and RJD looted Jharkhand every time they got an opportunity and that Congress is the mother of corruption)
The Prime Minister alleged that Congress was involved in countless scams, including the 2G scam and the coal scam.
” Congress created a record of loot, ” he commented.
Congress-JMM-RJD snatched land from poor
He further pointed out that both Congress and RJD have in their character of snatching land from the innocent poor promising them jobs.
“JMM learned the same habit and character from Congress and RJD, ” he said adding that
The JMM was involved in a land scam in Jharkhand.
“The party grabbed the land of poor people and tribals. The party also tried to usurp the army land,” rued the Prime Minister.
The Prime Minister questioned whether the money recovered from the houses of tainted leaders belonged to whom.
” Main aapse puchta hun inke gharo se Jo noto ke pahar baramad hue hai wo kiske hai, . Ye aapke baccho ke hak ka paisa hai ya nahin. Ye aapka paisa hai, bholay bhale adivasion ka hai, dalito ka, pichro ka hai, ” he said.
The Prime Minister revealed that he is taking legal advice. ” I am looking for ways to get the money back to the poor. I can guarantee this, ” he said amid a thundering applause.
Congress-ruled states will not get investments
Stressing on industrialisation, the Prime Minister said, ” Puri duniya janti hai ki desh ki pragati ke liye udyog jaruri hai. Jamshedpur ka to naam hi jamshetji Tata ke naam per hai lekin Congress party udyam karne walon ko desh ka dushman manti hai.”
(It is a known fact that industry is necessary for the progress of the country. Jamshedpur got its name from industry stalwart Jamshetji N Tata. But, unfortunately, Congress holds industrialists as the country’s enemy).
Referring audience as brothers and sisters, the Prime Minister said, “I want to discuss a serious topic today because I am standing in an industrial town and among my tribal brothers and sisters. I challenge the Congress and its allies wherever they have a government, be it in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Telangana, West Bengal or Himachal Pradesh, I challenge the chief ministers that in the days to come, they will fail to get investments as Congress is opposed to industry and investments”.
The Prime Minister pointed out that it was neither a political nor an election statement.
Referring to an important and long pending issue of an ambitious airport project at Dhalbhumgarh he said, ” Our government wants to build an airport in Dhalbhumgarh but Jharkhand government is putting obstacles. “
The Prime Minister in his speech also referred to the Kharsawan and Gua incidents as no one can forget the sacrifice of the tribals made for the freedom struggle.
The Prime Minister appealed to the people to cast their votes in favour of BJP candidate Bidyut Baran Mahto, who is contesting from the Jamshedpur Lok Sabha seat for the second consecutive term.
Jamshedpur will go to polls on May 25.
The Prime Minister asked the people that by voting in favour of Bidyut Baran Mahato they would in turn strengthen his hands.
” Aapka vote sidha Modi ko milega. Aap jyada se jyada logon se miliye, aap jyada se jyada logon se matdan karwiye, aur Modi ka hath ko majbut kijiye,” the Prime Minister said.
The rally witnessed a good turnout of people despite the hot and humid weather.
Union tribal affairs minister Arjun Munda, state BJP chief Babulal Marandi, AJSU leader Sudesh Mahto and several other senior BJP leaders attended the election rally.
