Ranchi, May 11: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today launched a scathing attack on the JMM-Congress government, saying it has established only one industry in Jharkhand – the opium industry.

“This black business is running under the protection of the government. They want to push your children into the quagmire of drugs,” Modi said while addressing an election rally at Simaria under the Chatra Lok Sabha constituency known for the cultivation of opium.

Continuing his diatribe, he said, “Modi is giving free ration to 80 crore people. But in Jharkhand, these people have ruined the system of distribution of ration. They want you not to get the ration sent by Modi. When the poor bless Modi, these people get irritated with the poor,” he said.

Mountains of cash

PM Modi raked up the issue of rampant corruption again. He said, “The 2024 election is not just an election to form the government. This election is an election to build the country, this election is an election to save the country from thieves and robbers, and this election is an election to secure the future of your children. You saw how mountains of currency notes were being found from the hideouts of JMM and Congress. Even machines had to be brought from banks to count the notes.”

INDI Alliance has accepted defeat

Modi said that the INDI Alliance has accepted its defeat in the Lok Sabha election.  “Shahjade (Rahul Gandhi)  will get fewer seats than his age,” he predicted.

Merger of small parties with Congress after elections!

The Prime Minister said, “The statement given by a very big leader of the INDI alliance is a very well thought out statement born out of extreme despair. He has said that after the elections, all the small political parties should be merged into the Congress.”

Modi on Congress’ reservation plan

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “Congress wants to snatch the reservation of tribals, Dalits and OBCs. Congress wants to steal your reservation and give it to Muslims. They want to give reservations based on religion.”

Power of one vote

Modi said that such is the power of your one vote that today a tribal woman Draupadi Murmu has become the President of India, but Congress is not able to digest it. “Tribal society should move forward… Indi Alliance does not like it. They do not want to allow the people of tribal society to move forward. Not only this, when Draupadi Murmu ji visited the Ram temple for darshan and worship, the sinful mind of the Congress said that now we will purify the Ram temple with Ganga water. This is the low mentality of Congress towards tribals, towards the President, towards women.”

Modi said, “After 500 years, the temple of Lord Shri Ram was built in Ayodhya after the sacrifice of many generations.” “Which Indian would not be happy?” he asked.
