Srinagar, March 30: The Congress on Saturday issued a roster of 27 prominent campaigners for Jammu and Kashmir, featuring party president Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, among other notable figures.

The star campaigners list featured Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Ambika Soni, KC Venugopal, Sachin Pilot, Bharatsingh Solanki, Harish Rawat, Vikar Rasool Wani, GA Mir, Tariq Hameed Karra, Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu and Revanth Reddy.

The roster of 27 names additionally featured Manoj Yadav, Tara Chand, Raman Bhalla, Chowdhary Lal Singh, GN Monga, Shameema Raina, Pramod Tewari, Pawan Khera, Ranjeet Ranjan, Akash Bharat, TS Singh Deo, Imran Pratapgarhi, Raj Babbar and Pirzada Mohd Sayeed.

During the five phases of the Lok Sabha elections, these leaders will campaign for the party’s candidates in Jammu and Kashmir.

J&K LS polls in five phases beginning April 19

Congress general secretary KC Venugopal submitted the lineup of star campaigners for the parliamentary elections in Jammu and Kashmir to the Secretary of the Election Commission of India.

The Jammu and Kashmir’s Lok Sabha elections are scheduled to take place in five phases, beginning on April 19 in Udhampur, April 26 in Jammu, May 7 in Anantnag-Rajouri, May 13 in Srinagar, and May 20 in Baramulla.
