PINAKI MAJUMDAR
Jamshedpur, March 6: Weather conditions across Jharkhand are likely to turn partly cloudy with chances of light rain and thunderstorms at isolated places over the next few days due to multiple atmospheric systems active over eastern India.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), an upper-air cyclonic circulation currently persists over north Odisha and adjoining Gangetic West Bengal at around 0.9 km above mean sea level.
Another upper-air cyclonic circulation is present over northeast Bangladesh and adjoining areas at around 1.5 km above mean sea level.

A trough is also extending from the central parts of north Uttar Pradesh to the cyclonic circulation over Odisha and West Bengal, passing through northeast Madhya Pradesh, north Chhattisgarh and south Jharkhand at the same altitude.
These synoptic weather conditions are expected to influence the weather pattern across Jharkhand during the coming days.
Rain, thunderstorm forecast for Jharkhand
On March 7, the state is likely to witness partly cloudy skies with light rain or thunderstorms at isolated places, particularly in the south-eastern districts.
Similar conditions may prevail in the eastern parts of Jharkhand on March 8.
