Ranchi, Sept 24: Jharkhand’s Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Deepika Pandey Singh met Chief Minister Hemant Soren today and highlighted the challenges faced by students from landless families of 22 Scheduled Caste sub-castes in obtaining caste certificates.

Deepika said the absence of certificates is depriving these students of access to education, scholarships, and employment. She noted that she had raised this issue earlier in the Assembly as a Member of Parliament and is now pursuing it with equal seriousness as a minister.
